This case is perfect for my Tom Tom GO 720. The unit fits snug and the zipper appears to be sturdy. I purchased this case to protect the screen when I carry the Tom Tom in my purse. I would highly recommend this case.

Perfect fit for my TomTom 720, nice and sturdy.

Wish it could hold the cables as well

But obviously this is not what it was made for.

I mostly use this to store my 720 in the house or to store it when traveling.

it fits the go 720 like a glove.. easy entry and exit while not letting the device slide around inside while closed

5 Stars Perfect Case
If you have a GO 720, this is the perfect case. The inner lining wont scratch the screen, and the outer shell is soft, but will protect against scratching and minor drops.

1 Star Zipper broken upon arrival
Judging by the other review about a broken zipper, I think that’s an issue with this product. I sent mine back for a refund.

Nice protection for my Navigon unit. Keeps it scratch free and I am able to take it along with me in my brief case without damaging the unit.

4 Stars nice but zipper a bit hard to pull around corners
This is a nice case. It is hard enough, made of nice materials. It is a snug fit for my nuvi 765T. The only thing I don’t like is the zipper is somewhat hard to close around the corners and you have to make some effort to align the case and the zipper so it closes. Recommended.

Update: The dimensions (outside) are 3.5″ (95mm) x 5.25″ (135mm) x 1.125″ (30mm) NOT 6 x 1 x 8 inches!

3 Stars Good for the Price
The case was fairly inexpensive which was my primary motivation after plunking down $250 for the GPS unit itself.

The dimensions are accurate, and the fit is accurate without being too tight or too loose around my wide screen format unit. The “hardness” of the case also is as hoped for, and feels secure and very capable of protecting the unit under normal carrying situations.

I’ve used it to put in some receipts when traveling with the GPS unit, but there are no bells and whistles to accommodate other storage elements. Purely intended for the unit only. It fits well in cargo pants or coat pockets — even back pocket of some jeans I would guess.

My one concern is the zipper. It works fine through the first month I’ve had it; but, it is “tight” around the three corners of the case. It makes me feel like it is stretched a bit and could become an issue with the teeth getting misaligned as you have the sensation of forcing the zipper over those corners. Can you lube a zipper?

4 Stars OK but Could be better!
This product was not as hard a shell as I had hoped and less quality than I’d hoped. The elastic bands don’t allow enough room to easily store GPS without worry of scratching screen with zipper. there could be more padding inside case for protective purposes. Still it is capable of protecting GPS from many hazzards and accidents.

2 Stars Not for the Navigon 7100
This one was advertised to fit the 7100, its too small. It might fit a 3.5 screen though. Sorry.

1 Star Poorly made!
This item is not of particularly good quality. Not that one expects premium grade leather at these prices, but when it arrives already broken/torn, it’s a problem. Additionally, although I very carefully selected a case meant for the correct model of Tom Tom, the fit just isn’t there. It was near impossible to get the device in and zip it shut unless you disassembled the device every time, which is just silly. Even if you do take the mounting cup off, it’s still a tight fit – people with reduced hand strength, arthritis, or other fine motor issues would have a really tough time using this item, because pulling the zipper shut when it’s crammed in so tightly is nearly impossible. But don’t worry, it will probably break the first time you try to close it anyway!

This is a useful accessory to my TomTom One XL-S. The hard-shelled case makes it easy to safely store my GPS in my purse when I leave my car.

3 Stars Measure twice, cut once
This case is great, nice hard sides, BUT it is a VERY snug fit. So snug that it is very difficult to get the zipper around for closing. And this product is made specifically for Tom Tom.

This Case was used recently on a trip north, I would stick the TomTom in the case under the seat of the car when I left it, no scratches or dirt got on it

5 Stars Nice leather case
This is a very nice leather case.

Sure it’s a bit on the high priced side but it’s a TomTom branded nice leather case.

The strap doesn’t work with the 730 (it even says that on the package, the strap is only compatible with the TomTom One XL)) but that’s ok, the strap is not needed anyway, all I’m doing is keeping the GPS in it and protected.

If you want a simple nice leather case I’d recommend it.

5 Stars Nice quality- like the snap.
Bought one as a present for my dad and liked it so much that I bought one for myself. It fits my TomTom Go 730 perfectly and it is nice to have a snap vs a zipper for quick storage. Nice quality leather. Note: the strap doesn’t work for my model since there isn’t a hole for it… but I probably wouldn’t use it anyway.

5 Stars Strap attaches to the XL unit — not the actual leather case.
As mentioned by a previous reviewer the box lists on the side that “the strap is only for the TomTom XL model and will not work on the other models.” Also, some people seem to think the strap attaches to the case but if you have the XL model the stap attaches directly to the XL GPS unit itself, not to leather case. It’s the same idea as a strap that attaches to a camera — you’d have a little cutout on the body of the camera and you thread the little loop of the strap through the cutout and then push the big look of the strap back through little loop to secure it. Even though I have the GO model and the strap doesn’t work I do love the case. Nicely made.

I bought this with my tom tom model listed. I love the case it is very stylish and protects the tom tom. My only problem was the strap had no where to connect to the case and there was nowhere to connect it to the tom tom.
