5 Stars Simple suction cup mount
This is a simple GPS antenna mount which works quite well. I have a Garmin mount, which uses a screw on one of the suction cups to adjust the angle, which works quite well once you get it adjusted. With this mount, you bend the metal to get it adjusted and it has four suction cups to hold it in position. The platform is a bit large, especially considering the GPS antenna is is suggested for, but it is not that big of a deal and it can be used with multiple different sizes of antennas.

Simple product works exactly as advertised. Stick it to your windshield and slap on the magnetic antenna and you’re good to go. Also comes with two screws if you really want to make sure the antenna doesn’t move.

Works great, just a bit large and clunky.

It holds well to my windshield over all kinds of terrain and in all kinds of weather.

5 Stars Excellent – superior to other mounts
After the first all-plastic windshield mount (by Garmin) for my 60CSx broke, I purchased this RAM unit as a replacement.

This product is well built, heavier, and has a sturdy suction device.

The Garmin unit used a thin plastic lever to generate the suction, and it inevitably broke. This will not happen with the RAM system.

Where the other unit was difficult to adjust to suit my viewing, this one is easy.

Where the other device allowed vibration and jiggling of the GPS while driving, this one keeps the GPS completely still.

I highly recommend the RAM system.

It’s a solidly built mount but it’s a little bit of a pain removing the GPS from the cradle. The quality is well worth the money though.

I ordered this product the RAM Mounting System for my new Garmin handheld GPS. It is very sturdy and easy to mount in my vehicle. It did not come with instructions to put it together but I easily figured how to put in together. My gps fits great in it and it doesn’t move any while driving. The only complaint I have is that one of the holes on the mounting unit was not drilled through so I could only put one of the screws with the lock nut in. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. I am going to fix this myself though I recommend if any body else gets one like that they should send it back if you don’t have the proper equipment to fix the problem. All in all good product for the price and fast shipping.

I recently purchased this after having my Garmin GPS60csx for about a year. Like I said above it is of SOLID construction made in the USA. It fits perfectly and just rests in the cradle. I drove over some good bumps and tight turns and it stays in place just fine. The only reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5 is that is lacked instructions, although a nice full color brochure of all RAM products was included.

There are 4 screws and 2 bolts you need to screw in with a Phillips screwdriver which is pretty straight forward, however like I said before a simple instruction sheet would be nice. It is easily adjustable so you can get just the right angle. I highly recommend it for anyone who has this model GPS and would like to get additional usage in your vehicle.

5 Stars They should offer a larger diameter handlebar clamp.
It aint that hard to figure out without directions. There’s only four bolts, two nylok nuts and four plastic molded pieces. I don’t know what kind of plastic this material is, but without too much effort I had no problem prying apart the handlebar clamp. But I can see where it might be too tough for some. Believe me, if this clamp got stressed to the point of snapping you would know about it. The handlebar bracket was a sloppy fit, but wrappng a few turns of black electricians tape around the circumferance of the handlebar between it and the clamp took up the slop. No slop after I tightened it. Solid as a rock. Now, my handlebars are only 22 mm diam. close to the brake cable mounts and then it flares up to 25mm in diam. towards the gooseneck. So now you know what to expect. I agree they should offer a larger diameter handlebar clamp and print a diameter spec to go along with it.

1 Star Check your handlebar thickness before buying
I ordered this for a new road bike and was disappointed at the lack of documentation and that the cheap plastic bracket almost snapped when I put it on my handlebars. The handlebars were way too thick for the screw holes to line up even with a longer screw as the previous reviewer noted. There are no dimensions listed for maximum handlebar thickness yet there needs to be as newer bikes are larger.

3 Stars Needs instructions and a longer screw…
Recieved item, it shipped without any paperwork (instructions). It came with two screws and nuts to connect a fixed piece to the bike, then it has another screw to connect another piece to the fixed mount on the bike. The screw for this piece was too short. You are able to connect it, but only about two threads catch. I went ahead and connected and put the PN-20 on it, but it was too loose. I had to go to the hardware store and purchase a longer screw to make it work.
