TomTom Black Carrying Case

black hardcover carrying case for your TomTom ONE 130 or ONE 130 6; S portable navigator

3 Stars Tight fit
The carrying case is a nice solid piece. However the way it opens makes use difficult. Thanks to the elastic side pieces, the opening of this clam-shell design is very small to maneuver the gps through. Once the unit is in I feel it is secure. The same goes for getting the unit out of the case. Why can’t it be like my laptop carry case ….. just slide it it and out. If I had it to do over again I would not buy this product.

5 Stars Satisfied
Just used this case on trip, and was great for carrying my TomTom

into hotels at night. Doesn’t take up any space in my bag.

3 Stars Nice case for 3″ screen, not the 4.5″
very nice case, but made for small tomtoms, not the current xl one or other 4.5″ screens. wish it did, i think the black one is for the larger xl lines. too bad, the brown was really cute

5 Stars Like Small Suitcase, Fits Tomtom One 125 Like A Glove!
I was skeptical about the unit based on reviews here, but I went to a Best Buy store and looked at the case. Even though it was covered in hard plastic, it looked like it was worth purchasing. I saw a reviewer complain that it cannot accommodate the car charger, but it is a carrying case, not a bag. All Garmin cases accommodate the GPS only.

I got the product about three days after purchase, which was quite fast. I then got my TomTom One 125 and inserted it into the case, and it fit beautifully, the whole mount and suction cup included. It is like a small suitcase, suede-like material but very sturdy, hard for the most part, and fits well into the pocket. It is not easily dinged, meaning that it shall protect the GPS well. It completely covers the GPS (some may want the charging to be accessible) There is a certain way of getting the GPS into the case (screen facing front, where Tomtom label is, mount facing back) Inserting it otherwise will cause it not to fit properly. I think this is what some reviewers did, and tried to force the zipper shut, leading to the zipper breaking. It has an elastic strip joining the back and the front, which means that the GPS shall only come out if you remove it, and not fall off unintentionally. It also comes with a strap, although I did not quite get the correct way of getting the strap into the case. (not like camera strap) I used to worry about where to place the GPS after using it, but this case has solved my problem. It is worth protecting the investment. It looks very convenient, and looks like a must have if traveling, whether by road or air.

5 Stars Case Study
This case is great if you ever plan on taking the TomTom out and about, never have to worry about sratches!

4 Stars Traffic Info Along With Some Strange But Entertaining Extras
We use the traffic service primarily in Michigan and Ohio. It seems to catch most of the traffic back ups (especially in Ohio) and allows us to route around or ignore the trouble spots. Our only complaint is that we occasionally get some rather strange warnings. We have had several “avalanche warnings” in Toledo, a “bicycle race” warning on I-90 and a “Boxing Tournament” warning on US-2. All in all we are very happy with the service and have had a few chuckles from it’s occasional mix ups.

4 Stars Navigon Traffic
Wow! Just $19.99 for traffic. This is a lifetime too. Great price for the Navigon. Don’t have a navigon? What are you waiting for, get up and order one now.

2 Stars :(
I wasn’t thrilled with this. By the time it alerted you of the traffic, you were already stuck in it, or beyond the point that you can turn around.

5 Stars Excelent service for the price
I bought this because I am usually on the road when I find out about important traffic info. It works great when your in areas it works in. A little icon appears when there is traffic info to report. When I first got my GPS unit, this extra traffic service was a $100. When I saw it for $30 I couldn’t let the deal pass by.

1 Star Not User Friendly
Not very user friendly on install and you can’t really tell if the install worked

Magellan RoadMate 1430 GPS Review

New GPS devices come out every year. It seems to be a race to see who can add the most features and have the biggest screens. However, Magellan has taken a different approach with the RoadMate 1430.
