I bought this mount for my Garmin Venture HC. I like RAM products. I also purchased one of the RAM 2x magnifiers which made my Venture HC usable as an auto gps. The magnifier bracket was a little tricky to get the metal rod bent just right.

5 Stars very secure and versatile mount
This mount locks down “tight” to a flat surface and feels very secure. The double ball mounts also give you the most flexibility possible in deciding how you’d like to angle and tilt the GPS with a very easy to grab and turn locking dial. Fantastic build quality and I would highly recommend. Also the base mount can be replaced with any other 1″ ball RAM Mount for mounting to nearly anything!

3 Stars Very Secure…
I bought this after I had a GPS bounce off the pavement. It is a real flexible and easy adjustable mount made specifically for the Garmin Nuvi 610, 660, 670 and 680. I gave it 3 stars because it comes in pieces in a plastic bag and does not include a part list or intsructions. You have to guess as to if you have it installed correctly and if you got all the parts you were supposed to get.

I’m able to mount my Nuvi 680 on my bike securely and ride for hours, even over bumpy terrain and this holds on like a champ. I highly recommend the RAM products to anyone that wants an aftermarket GPS mounting system.

4 Stars GPS Mounting for car
I ordered this product the RAM Mounting System for my new Garmin handheld GPS. It is very sturdy and easy to mount in my vehicle. It did not come with instructions to put it together but I easily figured how to put in together. My gps fits great in it and it doesn’t move any while driving. The only complaint I have is that one of the holes on the mounting unit was not drilled through so I could only put one of the screws with the lock nut in. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. I am going to fix this myself though I recommend if any body else gets one like that they should send it back if you don’t have the proper equipment to fix the problem. All in all good product for the price and fast shipping.

4 Stars Strong, sturdy and ready for action
I recently purchased this after having my Garmin GPS60csx for about a year. Like I said above it is of SOLID construction made in the USA. It fits perfectly and just rests in the cradle. I drove over some good bumps and tight turns and it stays in place just fine. The only reason for the 4-star rating instead of 5 is that is lacked instructions, although a nice full color brochure of all RAM products was included.

There are 4 screws and 2 bolts you need to screw in with a Phillips screwdriver which is pretty straight forward, however like I said before a simple instruction sheet would be nice. It is easily adjustable so you can get just the right angle. I highly recommend it for anyone who has this model GPS and would like to get additional usage in your vehicle.

After the first all-plastic windshield mount (by Garmin) for my 60CSx broke, I purchased this RAM unit as a replacement.

This product is well built, heavier, and has a sturdy suction device.

The Garmin unit used a thin plastic lever to generate the suction, and it inevitably broke. This will not happen with the RAM system.

Where the other unit was difficult to adjust to suit my viewing, this one is easy.

Where the other device allowed vibration and jiggling of the GPS while driving, this one keeps the GPS completely still.

I highly recommend the RAM system.

It’s a solidly built mount but it’s a little bit of a pain removing the GPS from the cradle. The quality is well worth the money though.
