5 Stars Gilsson direct wire cable for GPS
It seems to work quite well. Cable was plenty long to go from the battery on the motorcycle up under the tank to the stem and up the handlebars to the RAM mount. I’ve used it for several hours straight, and it’s survived the rain (behind the fairing) and keeps working. I’m satisfied.

This is a great product and works well installed on my motorcycle. The only complaint I have is that the wires are too high a gauge which made it diffcult to install terminal clamps.

Using it with my Garmin 350 and it works. This eliminates that cig lighter adapter

Installed on Honda motorcycle, provided with plenty of cable length, works as intended. Only improvement would be to make at least somewhat water resistant to give it 5 stars. Used with a Garmin Nuvi 260.

I installed the Gilsson GUSBV-B Garmin Direct Cable on my motorcyle to use for my Garmin GPS Nuvi 760. It works great. I really like it. It keeps my GPS charged and fully operational. I don’t have to worry about the batteries on my GPS dieing on long rides. I am very pleased with this product.

3 Stars It works and you have no other choice
I use the cig plug adapter in many rental cars and it works fine. I think its bulky and I don’t like that you can bend the pins on the back of the GPS that plut into the cable if you’re not careful. It also feels “cheap.” The one that came with my GPS stopped working and the fuse didn’t even pop so I bought this replacement. On the motorcycle I use the hardwire directly to the fusebox. I think it’s a better quality cable but clearly not practacle for most people in most cars.
