The suction cup on the mount that came with my GPS eventually wore out. It would no longer stay on the windshield and would fly off and hit me whenever I took a turn. Kind of funny actually.. but not very helpful while driving!
I got this one as a replacement and it works perfectly, it has a very powerful suction and isn’t going anywhere. My mom has a magellan gps and it came with a terrible mount that never stayed suctioned from day one. I’m definitely going to recommend that she gets this as a replacement.
2 Stars Only worked for 3 months
At first I was thrilled with this mount- it is tons better than the one which came with the unit. I bought it in June and by September the suction cup no longer suctions to the windshield. I cannot understand how it would lose suction, but I tried everything.

I have used this suction cup for over 1 year now. This product works great. You may want to consider buying an additional cradle for the GPS. This way you can move just the GPS between two cars.

Very sturdy when placed on windshield or on mounting disks on my dash, glad I order 2 of them
